By twisting on the top of the handle you adjust the tamper pressure/depth.

To adjust distribution level, remove distributor and tamper, place the preferred number of “height-discs” on the axle on the distributor, and reassemble the distributor and tamper.

To remove the distributor and tamper, grab onto the handle tightly and twist the distributor counter-clockwise until it is loose. When it has loosened, pull it out. You may have to pull a bit harder to remove the tamper as well. Please be advised that the tamper will not be attached to the distributor at this point so be careful as to not drop it, as this might damage it and affect the performance of the product. You have now disassembled it as far as possible.

You can clean it by simply brushing and wiping off the underside of the product. For thorough cleaning, disassemble the distributor and tamper and wash with soap and water. Dry of all parts thoroughly before reassembly and use. If the product is still wet during use coffee powder can interfere with the function of the product.

Thorough leaning the product every 100 uses is recommended. Microscopic coffee particles can accumulate inside the product if it is not cleaned regularly. This can cause wear and affect the performance.
